This Maryland Nonprofits session is your guide to become more successful government grant applicants. Rachel Werner and Lauren Schultz at RBW Strategy have supported many clients to successfully apply for, receive and manage millions of dollars in federal, state, and local government funding. The application process can seem daunting, and many do not know where to start. You’ll come away from this session with some useful tools, tips, and guidance so you can approach your next grant writing effort with greater ease.

  2. Review the step-by-step process for reviewing a funding opportunity announcement and how to prepare a responsive application.
  3. Learn best practices to enhance your organization’s capacity and infrastructure to respond to different opportunities.
  4. Participate in hands-on exercises to put these concepts and processes into practice.
