For nearly fifty years, the Association of Community Services (ACS) has recognized the good works of a select number of Howard County nonprofits, both large and small, and their volunteers through our popular annual Humanitarian Awards event, which also serves as ACS's primary fundraising event.
This year, however, we will honor all ACS members, instead of a select few, with a celebratory in-person event on June 8, 2022! It will be a great opportunity to reconnect with one another and show appreciation for the many contributions made by our ACS members.
For the past two years, our nonprofit community has been called upon as never before to support residents, providing everything from emergency funding to shelter to groceries. Local nonprofits stretched their staffs and resources to the brink so that individuals and families could be safe and secure. We hope you will join us in acknowledging the outstanding contributions made by our nonprofits and volunteers.
We invite you to help us honor our members' great work in the community by sponsoring this fun and festive event. After two years of virtual celebrations, we anticipate a great turnout at this exciting in-person event, one where you will surely want your organization or name to be prominently featured as a sponsor to show your support.
The event will feature a new new indoor/outdoor venue at our NonProfit Collaborative on Patuxent Woods Drive, where guests will enjoy food trucks, fun and games, Lost Ark Distillery beverages, including an ACS Signature Cocktail, and some surprising entertainment by ACS member organizations!
Highlighting the evening will be the debut presentation of our dynamic digital Member Mosaic that will be prominently featured on the ACS website for the entire year, with links to each and every one of our member nonprofits, community advocates, and qualifying sponsors.
