Special Training: RBA (Part I & II Sessions)

The ACS Pilot Initiative is called Results Based Accountability (RBA). RBA is a disciplined way of thinking and taking action used by communities to improve the lives of children, families, and the community as a whole. ACS feels this RBA initiative is important to develop the overall capacity to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of operations and programs within the Howard County non-profit community. ACS plans to train human service organizations in RBA, an evaluation program currently being used in over 40 states and 10 countries for program planning and management.

RBA improves program performance:

  • Gets from talk to action quickly
  • Is a simple, common sense process that everyone can understand
  • Helps organizations surface and challenge assumptions that can be barriers to innovations
  • Builds internal collaboration and consensus
  • Uses data and transparency to ensure accountability for program performance.

Cost: $300 (2 participants per organization)
