Orientation & Organizational Assessment
February 12, 2014 9-11am at ACS Offices**

**This Feb date is a repeat of the Jan 29th information & assessment session. It is being made available to late series registrants or participants who could not attend Jan 29th.

Discuss concepts and rationale for both capacity building and organizational sustainability.  Learn what resources will be available through the series.  Prepare for the sessions with hands-on work using the ACS Checklist* to assess where your organization thrives and where there are gaps in regards to governance and operational
capacity.  (*The ACS Checklist is a compilation of the Maryland Association of Nonprofits’ Tier One: Essentials and Better Business
Bureau Standards for Charitable Accountability.)

with participants the areas of organizational development that

communicator on the principles and practices that promote sustainability. His mission is to unleash the potential of leaders and maximize opportunities for them and their organizations to make the world a better place. Coaching Sessions:
In addition to having the opportunity to attend two sessions with nationally recognized speakers, your organization will work with a local coach/consultant, who is an ACS member, during three separate
sessions (60-90 minutes in length). These sessions will allow focused
time to work on any ‘gaps’ or areas needing attention.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Registration for the two full-day session costs cover up to three members of an organization’s executive leadership team; Board
member participation is particularly encouraged.  To register go to
www.acshoco.org.
